Crawl (Alexandre Aja/Sam Raimi)
The upcoming Alexandre Aja / Sam Raimi project CRAWL sounds a lot like the 2010 movie BURNING BRIGHT, which was about a young woman getting trapped in the house with an escaped tiger during a hurricane. CRAWL just replaces the tiger with alligators, making it a story about a young woman who, while struggling to save her father during a Category 5 hurricane, finds herself trapped inside a flooding house and fighting for her life against Florida's most savage and feared predators.
Paramount has announced that they will be giving CRAWL a theatrical release on August 23rd.

Burning Bright is soo Scheiße...
Der hier sieht wenigstens aus, als hätte er mehr als 12,50€ gekostet.
Trailer is geil geschnitten - getaktet auf die Soundeffekte.

Re: Crawl (Alexandre Aja/Sam Raimi)
Bei den Pfeiljungs bin ich immer etwas vorsichtig, aber das kling sehr vielversprechend:
CRAWL is one of the best thrillers of the year. This fast paced man vs. nature tale is filled with tension and it manages to do exactly what it sets out to do. The suspense builds, the actors are terrific, and the alligator is a fierce and powerful beast that will have you clenching your fists and jumping out of your seats. Even if you aren’t necessarily a horror fan, this is the kind of movie that will please action fans as well. While there is certainly a few cringe-worthy moments when it comes to on-screen brutality, it never feels out of place or simply shock for shocks sake. Even the jump scares are used wisely creating a scary viewing experience. With a solid script written by Michael Rasmussen, and Aja at his best, you don’t want to miss this summer scare fest.
