He made his film debut in the 1975 thriller Deadly Hero. The following year he played a supporting role in Richard Lester’s The Ritz and also appeared in John Sturges’ The Eagle Has Landed. His big-screen breakthrough came in 1979, when he starred as George Berger in Miloš Forman’s Hair, based on the 1967 Broadway musical. Williams was nominated for a Golden Globe for that film. (...)

More recently Williams appeared in a six-episode arc on Blue Bloods as Lenny Ross, in the Hallmark Channel’s Chesapeake Shores from 2016-22 and in the HBO limited series We Own This City.

He will soon be seen in Ryan Murphy’s FX anthology series Feud: Capote’s Women, in which he plays former CBS head and media tycoon Bill Paley.

For a brief, intense period in the 70s, Glenda Jackson was the very epitome of bohemian Brit chic in the movies: gamine in a worldly English way, intellectual, liberated and frank but with a capacity for demure naivety. This was a period that gloriously co-existed with her recurring appearances on The Morecambe and Wise Show(...) led to her being cast in the 1973 Hollywood comedy A Touch of Class, which in turn gave Jackson her second Oscar (...). was pronounced dead on Tuesday, more than five months after disappearing while hiking alone on a trail on Mount Baldy in the San Gabriel Mountains in Southern California. (...)

On Sunday, authorities recovered human remains near the mountain where search crews had been looking for Mr. Sands. The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department said it had been contacted by hikers who had found human remains in the Mount Baldy wilderness. The Cuba-born Coto shared the Outstanding Drama Series Emmy for 24’s fifth season in 2005. He continued on 24 through its eighth and final season, and co-created along its sequel series, 24: Live Another Day and 24: Legacy. He also served as executive producer on four seasons of American Horror Story and two seasons of American Horror Stories, directing the 2021 episode “Feral” of the latter.

He also was an EP on the final three seasons of Showtime’s Dexter, scoring an Outstanding Drama Series Emmy nom in 2011, and EP’d the last two seasons of UPN’s Star Trek: Enterprise.
